Disc Golf game, or cowboy golf, is a great sport that is taking the country by storm!
Modern disc golf started in the late 1960's. One of the best known figures in the sport, George Sappenfield, was a Calfornian. He realized that golf would be a lot of fun if played with discs.
He set up an object course for kids to play on and later, introduced the game to many adults.
In 1970, the game became so popular on the UC Berkeley campus, that a permanent course was laid out.
